Scott Leggett is the founder or co-founder of several healthcare and medical services organizations, including Global 1, where he expanded physician networks, surgery centers, and self-insured employer partnerships to promote cost-effective, high-quality surgical care; Maverix Health, a boutique company developing and executing strategic plans for outpatient surgical services, empowering physicians to deliver superior patient care; Surgery One, a consulting firm specializing in ambulatory surgery center (ASC) operations and surgeon readiness for same-day total joint replacement and higher-acuity procedures; and NextMed Group, focused on medical real estate acquisition, development, and management, creating thriving healthcare facilities.With more than 30 years in orthopedic program management and over two decades in ASC development, Scott began his career in exercise physiology and research, progressed to developing outpatient orthopedic therapy clinics, and ultimately founded a network of physician-owned ASCs.
