Scott is the VP North America Dealer at Young Innovations, Inc, reporting to the CEO. Young Innovations is a manufacturer of dental consumables with >$300 million in annual revenue and is currently owned by TJC, a private equity firm based in New York, NY.This is Scott\'s fourth role at Young. Most recently, he reported to the COO and led M&A integration and other complex, cross-functional projects. He also built and managed a team of engineers to identify and drive EBITDA enhancement initiatives. Prior to that, Scott spent over five years in commercial and general management roles focused on Young\'s direct-selling Specialty businesses and reported to the CEO. Prior to joining Young, Scott spent roughly six years as the GM of Typenex Medical, a blood transfusion safety company acquired by Chicago Venture Partners from Baxter Healthcare in 2003. As the leader of the business, Scott reported directly to the Managing Partner of CVP and was responsible for developing and executing the organization\'s strategy. Prior to his time at Typenex, Scott spent almost seven years in marketing and engineering roles of increasing responsibility for the Medical Products segment of Cardinal Health, providing him with broad experience in product development and product management.Scott started his career as a chemical engineer with USFilter/HPD (now Veolia Water Technologies), working to provide technical field support for HPD\'s pulp and paper customers throughout the Americas.
