All of my workers \"get out the of gate, end of shift with no injuries\".Working towards CSP and masters in communications.I have been a basic welder through shop Foreman for 34 years, stepping into a safety professional as a primary career-9 tool box meetings weekly-10 \"formal\" safety audits weekly, with several throughout the week- I attend 1 weekly production meeting, 1 weekly superintendants meeting and a quarterly management meeting to present safety issues and training to those present-Responsible for enforcement of company policy, federal and state regulations/laws-New hire training-Equipment safety training-Safety policy development/revisions as required per situations or agency needs-Ongoing certifications for employees-Responsible for all incident reporting and recording-Lead investigator for all incidents-Management of relations with insurance and first aid providers-OSHA, UOSH, NIOSH, compentency with these agencies.
