Scott Landsman Bio Scott Landsman is a senior television executive with deep experience building and leading high-performing development teams and delivering long-running, premium scripted series across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. He currently serves as Head of Television at Seven Bucks Productions, Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia’s global entertainment company, where he oversees a team of executives and leads development across one-hour dramas, half-hour comedies, adult animation, and unscripted programming. Landsman and his team develop content under Seven Bucks’ first-look deal with 20th Television Studios, working closely with top creative talent, networks, and streamers to originate and package commercially viable, talent-driven series. Previously, Landsman was Senior Vice President of Comedy Development at Sony Pictures Television, where he managed relationships with leading writers, producers, agents, and managers while supervising projects from concept through series order. During his tenure, he developed and shepherded series including The Afterparty and Platonic (Apple TV+), Twisted Metal (Peacock), Woke (Hulu), Clean Slate (Freevee), and the animated series Good Times (Netflix). He also developed ABC’s The Goldbergs, which ran for ten seasons and achieved successful off-network syndication. In addition, he worked on the Emmy Award–winning Norman Lear/Jimmy Kimmel live specials Live in Front of a Studio Audience. Earlier in his career, Landsman held multiple leadership roles at Comedy Central, including Vice President of Original Programming and Development, after serving as Director of Original Programming and Development and Director of Current Programming. He joined the network in 2004 and contributed to the development and management of its original comedy slate during a period of sustained growth. Landsman is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he earned a degree in Journalism and serves on the Communication Arts Board. He has also been a mentor with Youth Mentoring Connection for over a decade.
