About Scott Kovacevich

Hello, I am Scott Kovacevich, and I have more than 25 years of professional experience in the technical industry. I have worked for both large and small organizations implementing quality processes and managing projects. I managed a division for an outsource testing company, worked at financial institution, Insurance company, large software company, Telecom company, and now an advertisement company. Currently I am helping create an automation framework and laying the ground work that will take the QA team at Avalere Health to the next level. We have creating a new process in Test Rail for Test cases, implemented a new reporting tool and streamlining process to help us be more responsive and pro active. I have managed over 30 people at one time in various positions such as test engineers, automation engineers, project managers, and UAT testers. I have kept my skills sharp by writing scripts, plans, verification statements, reviewing automation scripts, and doing minor testing to make sure that I understand the projects that were passing through my group. My self starting, quick ramp up time, great multitasking capability and team building experience has carried me far, and I look forward to my next adventure.    I am leading a strong team of dedicated QA people testing numerous web sites for multiple pharmaceutical companies. I have made some big changes here such as implanting a new process for working with test cases in Test Rail, to building a frame work for automation that will not only use Browserstack for compatibility but utilizing Percy to take screenshots in multiple devices and browsers. These are the first steps and we are getting ready to continue to implement additional processes to not only improve quality but improve our velocity. 2025 looks to be exciting and rewarding.
