Keeps individual records of all student and family communication, decisions, and actions taken.•Proficient regarding the State and Federal non-discriminatory mandates of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008.•Oversees the development of adaptive classrooms and testing materials in accordance with student\'s prescribed accommodations and the procurement of assistive technology to meet individual needs.•Remains current by participating in webinars and joining professional organizations such as AHEAD (Association of Higher Education and Disability).•Serves as a standing member on the College Behavioral Intervention Team.•Networks and collaborates with campus offices to develop policies and procedures pertaining to students with disabilities.
