ABOUT SCOTT JACOBSON

More than 25 years corporate, non-profit and agency marketing, communications and management experience. Seasoned writer of creative content, plans and strategies, case studies, bylined articles, press releases, white papers, video scripts, speeches and annual reports. Joined UJIA in April 2020 after a stint at Quiller Consultants from February 2019. Director of PR & Communications at National Citizen Service (NCS) Trust from August 2017 to January 2019. Independent consultant from 2014 to 2017 for clients including The Coca-Cola Company, Equifax, Cox Enterprises, Children\'s Healthcare of Atlanta, University of Georgia and SITA. Held newly created role of Director of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising at leading first aid charity St John Ambualnce from 2009-13. Recruited by Orange UK in 2005 as Director of PR and promoted less than two years later to Director of Corporate Communications, presiding over Orange UK’s first-ever integration of PR with Corporate Responsibility and Internal Communications. In 2003, co-founded Pretium Consulting, an Atlanta-based communications firm with clients including Cingular Wireless, America’s largest mobile operator. Recruited back to Atlanta office of Ketchum in (employed previously from 1992 to 1995) as Director of the Cingular Wireless account, then promoted to Director of Brand Marketing. Held three positions at The Coca-Cola Company from 1995 to USA PR Manager then promoted to Manager of Global Sports Communications then Director of Marketing Communications. Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College and Master of Arts from Columbia University.
