I have worked in the Construction Industry for over 30 years, working in all environments i.e. High rise office blocks, oil & gas refineries, Petrochemical plants, Power stations ( new builds / shutdowns) & Rig Yards (construction & load outs) and believe I have built up a wide range of knowledge from these positions, both practically & theoretically. I am committed to maximum safety being implemented in all projects I am involved in being small or large. Self motivated with excellent leadership abilities, both in a team environment and in a supervisory capacity. I am currently working on York Potash woodsmith mine in Whitby for DMC mining as structural lead / supervisor for the erection of all structural steel in and above all 3 shafts prior to this I was at Teesside TeesREP Biomass plant for Shanahan Engineering as Construction Manager on the construction of the ACC and Steam turbine, prior to this I was almost 5yrs on Eskom\'s Kusile power plant in South Africa after another almost 5yrs long spell in the UAE for a multi-national company on various contracts in UAE managing sites with large amounts of plant, multi national workforce, keeping H&S implemented at all times whilst working to tight programmes. I have also worked in Europe and the Far East. I am experienced in generating Method statements, Risk Assessments & lift plans. Ensuring Toolbox talks, Task Assessment briefings are carried out & are job specific. I have excellent communication and organisational skills
