With a degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo Scott Hutcheon has a strong understanding of horticulture, technology, botany, and architecture. Scott is inspired by natures organic aesthetic as well as the positive effects they have on people and their surroundings. Landscape is a fusion of art and engineering and has dedicated his career towards the pursuit of this passion. Built and led the development of a fully integrated e-commerce and design technology platform that connects customers with expert designers and curated plant collections tailored to every climate zone.Oversaw design department operations and deliverables, creating a system that allows over 120 designers to log in through a dedicated portal and produce professional design plans for customers. Directed the creation of master product libraries, regional plant palettes, and scalable digital design assets. Established national grower partnerships to coordinate both truckload deliveries and direct-to-consumer plant shipments, while developing a certified installer network to bring completed designs to life for customers across the country.
