Manage cross functional maintenance staff to support continuous plant operations throughout multiple sites. Support engineering team by being the technical representative at O.E.M. sites. Lead development of CMMS data base (E-Maint) to match specifications of the O.E.M. recommendations while meeting external customer requirements. Developed alongside suppliers a sustainable VMI, both to service the maintenance department needs, while managing PPE thru out the facilities. Results were controlled cost, increased uptime, also functioning as an aesthetic 5S to these areas. Implemented TPM standards on key manufacturing equipment with operations involvement to better utilize set up/change over times. Collaborated with plant management, understanding current process capabilities and expanding those capabilities as necessary through equipment and/or staff expansion/development. Work with outside resources such as consultants, integrators and suppliers to gain knowledge on latest technologies that could be applied to current or future production equipment. Responsible for integration of new production equipment, overseeing the installation, coordinating sub contractors, assisting process engineering with qualification, conduct job safety analysis with union officials. Maintain relationships with local sub contractors, vendors, fabricators, electrical component repair technicians to leverage their expertise, control quality and reduce cost. Continuous training to become a reliability expert.
