Science Shepherd Homeschool Curriculum was developed by a homeschool dad, who experienced first-hand the need for quality higher level science curricula for the homeschool community.\"We have been homeschooling our six children since 1998. As our oldest child got nearer and nearer to first junior and then senior high school, we began to have conversations with other parents about continuing homeschooling as their children proceeded through the higher grade levels. Unfortunately, some parents made the decision not to continue homeschooling their children through the higher grades, and one of the most common reasons was because of concern about not being able to provide excellent higher level science education. We have developed the Science Shepherd Life Sciences and Biology programs so that parents can feel confident their children\'s higher level science needs will be more than adequately met, thus helping to allow the continuance of homeschooling through the higher grade levels.\"-Scott Hardin, MD Author, Science Shepherd Available Courses Introductory Science - 171 daily video-based lessons, with integrated workbook and practical activities. Covers geology, biology, meteorology, oceanography, astronomy and more. Life Science - Robust yet easy-to-learn life science-based program for middle school / junior high, or can also be used as an introductory science course for high school students who have not received a lot of science exposure. Biology – Complete high school curriculum with textbook, optional video lessons, lab manual, parent/teacher guide book, and test materials. Designed for independent study with advanced but easy-to-learn presentation, but with the supplementary teacher information, parents can be involved in their student(s) learning, if they choose. Unearthing the Bible - The historical voracity of the Bible is clearly explained with in-depth analysis of more than 25 archaeological finds, presented across 39 streaming video lessons.
