About Scott Hannum

Sports analogies may be cliché, but it’s for a good reason. As a lifetime sports participant, I recognize their lessons as profound and how they impact our personal lives, professional lives and help to build character in our youth. It started with the typical sports that kids play but eventually became serious and even became a business. I was blessed to work for various amateur and professional auto racing teams including 16 time NHRA World Champion John Force, served as Marketing Services Manager for a premier motorsports venue, founded Hannum Sports Inc. which produced a series of automotive, traditional and charity sporting events, created and lead an in-house marketing agency as Director of Advertising and Promotions for the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and was part of our Olympic program as a U.S. Pentathlete training for the ‘92 and ’96 Olympic games. These experiences also contributed greatly to my executive roles as Director of Sales & Marketing for a 3 billion dollar banking services company and as President of Badminton SnoSkinz Inc. which manufactured products for the equestrian and snowmobile industries. For me, the greatest reward from these endeavors has been the opportunity to share the good, the bad and the ugly as a speaker, facilitator and business trainer. I’ve been called upon to address a diverse range of relevant topics and authored courses such as “Purpose, Practices and People”, “Fast Track to Project Management” and “First Things First for PMs & BAs” seminars and workshops. Most recently I\'ve expanded my practice to include the facilitation of Peer Advisory Boards. This was a natural progression given my background and facilitating groups of CEOs, Presidents, business owners, and key executives gives me the opportunity to work with high-integrity leaders who are in the arena every day, competing for business and striving to grow their companies. Members of my groups bring their most difficult challenges and benefit from a collective wisdom to solve them.
