About Scott Hahn
Beginning in October 2008, Scott served as the Client Attorney at the Women\'s Center for Advancement in Omaha (formerly the YWCA), where he worked until going into private practice. Scott is now an Attorney at the law firm of Slowiaczek Albers & Whelan in Omaha. During his time at the Women\'s Center for Advancement (WCA), the majority of Scott\'s legal work involved family law and immigration issues, with an emphasis on cases involving domestic violence/sexual assault issues. In his most recent position as an Attorney at Slowiaczek Albers & Whelan, Scott\'s primary practice area remains family law cases and issues, including being one of few local attorneys to practice Collaborative Divorce as a member of the Nebraska Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Scott is an active member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, the Omaha Bar Association, Robert M. Spire Inns of Court, Breakfast Optimists Club, Rotary Club of Omaha West, and an alumni of the NSBA\'s Leadership Academy, Alpha Sigma Nu, and New Leaders Council. Scott is also a previous Center Sphere Chapter President, and prior member of the Academy of Greater Omaha Young Professionals and Downtown Omaha Inc. Scott recently completed a 2-year term as Chair of the Nebraska State Bar Association\'s Subcommittee on Limited Scope Representation, became Vice-Chair of the subcommittee, and was renominated to chair again where he served up until 2022. Scott also recently became a member of the Self-Represented Litigation Committee of the Nebraska Supreme Court. In 2018, Scott was honored to be the recipient of the Omaha Bar Association\'s Champions of Law Award for Education. In April 2019, Scott had the honor of appearing before and presenting his first oral argument to the Nebraska Supreme Court. Recently, Scott contributed a sub-chapter entitled \"The Do\'s and Don\'ts of Limited Scope Representation\" to the NSBA 2019 Family Law Manual.
