About Scott Fletcher
When I was young I was never into drawing or painting, I loved making things. Craft was my favourite subject in school. I only fell in love with drawing in the 9th grade when I was taking an exam and I saw my bench partner drawing behind his question paper. I met him a few days later and asked him to teach me. Since then he has thought me everything he knows and he has been one of my best friends ever since. After my HSC where I did Science, I decided to pursue art as a profession and after managing to convince my parents I joined Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Applied Arts and Crafts in Pune. In my third year I got a scholarship to do foreign exchange course in Nipissing University in Ontario, Canada. Once I received my Degree in Bachelors of Fine Arts, I did a one year Diploma in Graphic and Web Design in Arena Multimedia to increase my knowledge of software used in my field. Currently I’m freelancing as an Illustrator and a Graphic Designer and it is an amazing experience because it gives me an opportunity to experiment with a variety of styles of illustration which keeps it very exciting and not monotonous.
