ABOUT SCOTT FISHER
Like many folks my career path always looked a little foggy and I never really knew where my work experiences could lead me. What started as a love of native plants and restoring habitats and working with fantastic clients and people has really changed over my 24 years of environmental consulting. Much of my time in the industry focused on ecological restoration projects throughout the Northeast. I always found excitement in wondering what interesting project would we be working on next? I began working with leadership to develop an ecological restoration team in 2004. With their support the team began to get more of a foothold in exciting restoration project work. Our firm was acquired in 2016 and I transitioned into a Team Lead role and really embraced being part of an employee owned, nation-wide environmental consulting firm. The journey has been amazing. I couldn\'t be a more proud employee owner. In 2020 I became the Office Director of the Amherst and Boston Offices of SWCA. In 2022 my title was adjusted to Senior Office Director. My primary responsibilities include supporting the growth and development of our local Amherst and Boston staff, supporting clients with project work, developing client relationships, and supporting regional and national company initiatives.
