Giving Opportunity to Children GO Campaign improves the lives of orphans and vulnerable children around the world by partnering with pioneering local heroes to deliver local solutions. GO Campaign connects donors to high-impact grassroots projects aimed at changing lives and transforming communities. Since 2006, GO Campaign has partnered with local heroes from East L.A. to East Africa to change over children’s lives across over 30 countries. GO’s Local Heroes have been featured in many documentaries and on 60 Minutes, have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, and have been named CNN Heroes. Each year, GO’s annual Gala raises critical funds for children around the world and attracts guests ranging from GO Campaign Ambassadors Ewan McGregor, Robert Pattinson and Lily Collins, to supporters such as Jodie Foster, Shepard Fairey, Katy Perry, Gal Gadot and more. In connection with GO Campaign, Fifer speaks at Family Office events on the subject of impact giving, good governance, trends in philanthropy, and on philanthropic investment opportunities where families can feel connected to the impact of their investment and find that balance between strategic giving and passionate giving. Through GO Campaign, individuals and families can direct their impact, much like a donor advised fund, but with a transparent and immediate connection to the social impact of their investment in grassroots projects here at home and around the world.
