Key Responsibilities:Tender & Bid Preparation:Analyse drawings, technical documents, and specifications to prepare detailed electrical cost estimates.Develop competitive bids for commercial, industrial, or residential projects.Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify project requirements.Cost Estimation:Calculate costs for materials, labour, equipment, subcontractors, and overheads.Source and obtain competitive supplier/subcontractor quotations.Apply appropriate mark-ups and contingencies to develop final project pricing.Project Analysis:Conduct site visits or attend meetings to assess the scope and complexities of projects.Identify potential risks or opportunities that may impact costs or timelines.Evaluate historical data and market trends for pricing accuracy.Documentation & Reporting:Prepare and submit tender documentation and cost breakdowns in line with deadlines.Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and changes for reference and audit.Provide handover documentation to project managers once a project is awarded.Internal Coordination:Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.Support value engineering efforts by recommending cost-saving alternatives.
