About Scott Dixon

Nationally recognized for developing high school work-based learning programs that forge connections between high schools and the community. Significant experience developing, writing, and teaching a variety of business, entrepreneurship, finance, and marketing curricula at Lancaster High School (Lancaster, NY), Medaille University (Buffalo, NY), and with the Meszaros International Center for Entrepreneurship (Buffalo, NY). I possess a Master of Business Administration from Niagara University, graduated from the American Express Non-Profit Leadership Academy, and hold a permanent teacher certification in New York State. I am the director of the nationally distinguished Academy of Finance at Lancaster High School and have taught over 450 credit hours for Medaille University, 150 of which were online. I received the \'Pathfinder Award\' from the Buffalo Alliance for Education for creating workplace-classroom connections, The \'Janet Linton National Leadership Award\' for excellence in leadership and educational reform, the \'Aldo Papone National Leadership Award\', and the \'Good Neighbor of the Year\' for empowering to strengthen the Lancaster community. My purpose is to teach what everyone says \'they wished they had learned earlier\' before it\'s too late.
