Building the perfect sales team is an amazing game of strategy. I love puzzles and challenges that make you think. Recruiting and hiring a group of talented individuals with different strengths and personalities and finding ways where the team comes together and exceeds all expectations is an absolute rush for me. I have been privileged to lead many winning teams. Alright, managing a sales team isn\'t exactly a game, but it always provides challenges and rewards. Being the Director of Sales, and part of the Sr. Management team, I was able to set the strategic direction for the teams I\'ve led. This included targeting the right customers, removing barriers to success, and doing more with less. With a smaller team, we were able to increase productivity by 60% while at the same time doubling sales. I am so proud of my \"work family.\" Pushing into new markets and developing new business is a thrill. I was able to help with the marketing strategies and the business plan. I then watched it all come together – what an adventure. Hitting a market where there was a lot of doubt as to being able to be successful but then finding nearly in sales in the first month will get you excited to come to work every day.When I\'m not with my work family, I love spending time with my wife and daughter. If it\'s a trip to the beach or a movie on the weekend, we all enjoy our time together. Right now, I\'m teaching my daughter how to drive, which reminds me I can handle just about any stressful situation.
