Having spent the majority of my 15 year career across various engineering roles as both team member and Lead/Managerial Roles, I strongly believe that a great working environment furnished with well defined autonomy and guardrails aiding best practice enable people to do frankly amazing work. Throughout my career I have dabbled in end user/IT support, DBA, BI & ETL platforms dev, software and Cloud engineering & architecture, technical security and even some graphic design although I never graduated from MS paint. I have a healthy attitude against established Norms in the modern workplace and am not afraid to raise and pursue points of note that need to be backed even when challenged. I am an avid believer that the only thing that affects a persons professionalism is their choice to act professionally, nothing to do with how they dress, eat, sleep or live. Long story short I\'m not bothered by role titles in the workplace; whether someone is a multi-national global director or the person who keeps brew points clean and tidy for office spaces, I will always strive to be my authentic self and always up for a chat and a laugh. Lets bring the human element back into the hierarchy of workplaces, and keep ourselves safe both technically and mentally.
