Scott oversees Emergency Management, Environment of Care, and Safety for Medxcel Facilities Management, a part of Ascension, the largest non-profit health system in the United States with 1,900 sites of care, including 131 hospitals in 24 states and the District of Columbia. He provides vision and leadership resulting in the development, implementation and management of the organized, coordinated and integrated emergency management, general safety, security, fire protection, life safety, and accident-prevention programs. Scott builds collaborative partnerships with physician groups, local, state and regional stakeholders to shares and coordinates information and activities. Scott also co-chairs the Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council, a part of the federal critical infrastructure program, and co-chairs the Healthcare and Public Health Cyber Security Workgroup.
