   Scott Brian Clark currently serves as Senior Counsel for the Potomac Law Group in both New York City and West Palm Beach Florida. For many years, Mr. Clark has been at the forefront of the tax world. He is extremely well-versed in the intricacies of tax planning, audits, legislation and controversy. Through his career he has handled a vast number of high-profile cases and issues, and has significant tax experience representing both prominent entertainers and personalities, ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, and significant, well-known, domestic and multi-national companies throughout the world.Scott has been integrally involved with cutting-edge tax issues impacting both federal and state income taxes, international taxes, sales taxes, transfer taxes, global communications and digital taxes, and in particular issues of personal residency, domicile, and income allocation, among others. He has served as a tax advisor to both well known private clients and many of the world’s most significant businesses on issues of tax planning, controversy and settlements of significant tax disputes in most of the 50 states. Scott has been particularly well-known for his work in the telecommunications, technology, digital and internet tax arena where he served to help draft certain of the earlier white papers on the taxation of e-commerce and communications.Scott lectures frequently throughout the country on tax, legal and financial matters. He has served as a board member, officer or chair of numerous organizations focused on tax, legal and business issues. Among his many accolades, Scott is both a Certified Public Accountant and Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel. He is a long-time member of the Executive Committees of both the American and Connecticut Bar Tax Sections, a member of the Bloomberg State Tax Advisory Board, an editor of several leading state bar journals, and an active member of the state bar in Florida, New York, and Washington DC.
