About Scott Clancy
I am passionate about aviation and technology. I have 16years of Part 135 experience. I currently work for PHI Aviation LLC, one of the largest Helicopter operators. I am part of the Instructor staff which is a very rewarding role where I continually contribute towards improving our world-class safety focused operation. Myself and my colleagues write SOP’s, operations manuals, checklists and a variety of training documentation. We work closely with the FAA in an effort to move towards a safer and more efficient operation. in 2016 I was given the opportunity to lead the fielding of our newest airframe, the Airbus H145. total time, with an ATP in Helicopters and Multi-Engine Land. Part 135 AW139 / H145 IFR Captain AW139 / H145 Check Airman H145 Program lead Level D Simulator Instructor Administering check rides Writing SOP\'s, Operational Manuals, Aircraft Check-Lists, and Training Documentation. Previous Airframes: Sikorsky SK76 C++, SK76 A++, Bell 407, Bell 206 Series, Robinson R44 and R22. Factory courses attended: Leonardo(formerly Augusta Westland) AW139, Airbus(Formerly Eurocopter) H145. Flight Safety Sikorsky SK76 C++ course.
