ABOUT SCOTT CHRISTIE

I work at the intersection of asset management, operations, and decision-making, helping organisations understand how their assets are really performing and what to do about it.Much of my experience has been in large, regulated, asset-rich environments, where I’ve focused on diagnosing constraints in asset availability, utilisation, lifecycle cost, and maintenance performance. From there, I’ve helped shape practical improvements through evidence-based business cases, governance forums, and decision support tools that balance risk, service levels, and return on investment.A consistent part of my role has been translating between different perspectives — operational teams, suppliers, commercial functions, and senior leadership — to frame clear options and support better asset and investment decisions. I’m particularly effective at stepping back from day-to-day delivery to see the system as a whole, identify root causes rather than symptoms, and turn analysis into changes that work in practice.I’ve led portfolio-level optimisation, maintenance and compliance turnarounds, data and reporting improvements, and supply-chain performance initiatives, delivering measurable improvements in availability, utilisation, compliance, and capital efficiency. I’m equally comfortable working with frontline teams to land change as I am challenging and supporting senior leaders on strategy and investment choices.I’m motivated by roles where the challenge is understanding complex asset systems, improving decision quality, and translating strategy into outcomes that stick — particularly in infrastructure and long-term asset environments.
