About Scott Chlarson

I am committed to making Walmart my long-term career home, with the goal of retiring as a store manager or in a corporate role. Since joining Walmart in 2020, I have greatly appreciated the growth opportunities available to me. I started in OPD, quickly advanced to Fresh Supervisor within a month, then moved to Consumables Team Lead, and became an ON Coach within six months. As an ON Coach, I led the DSL Conversion as champion and served as OPL for the remodel at Store 986 in Frisco, CO.My educational background includes an associate degree in Mechanical Drafting, a second associate degree in Psychology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership from LBU (2025). I had planned to leverage the HOPE program to reach my corporate aspirations, but understand it is no longer available.Throughout my career, I have held multiple management positions. I have operated an online business for over 15 years, spent 13 years at Pepsi (leaving as a MU Manager), and built a restaurant with my wife, which we eventually sold during the Covid pandemic. These experiences have shaped my leadership skills and reinforced my dedication to Walmart’s mission and values.
