Scott Castleman is an Executive Vice President at LSG, bringing 20+ years of experience in public affairs, communications, crisis communications, and digital content development. Scott currently leads collaborative initiatives and coalitions for several multinational companies on shared corporate communications and public affairs priorities.Prior to joining LSG, Scott led multiple communications and public affairs efforts for TC Energy across the U.S, Canada and Mexico. He served in a similar role at Columbia Pipeline Group before the company was acquired by TC Energy in 2016. There, he worked closely with reporters and also bolstered CPG’s social media presence by expanding the company’s reach on Facebook and Twitter, while also developing LinkedIn, Vimeo and YouTube pages.Previous to CPG, Scott served as Chief Communications Officer at the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. He led efforts in gaining more than 30 national and international news stories for UC, including mentions on CNN, CNBC, Fox Business Channel, the Huffington Post, New York Times, TIME Moneyland, Inside Higher Ed, and Austrian Public Radio. During the 2012-13 school year, Castleman led the University’s efforts in garnering more than $3 million in earned media. He has also orchestrated over 120 blog posts, 200 YouTube posts and doubled UC’s followers on Facebook and Twitter.From 20••••10, Scott served as an account executive at Charles Ryan Associates where he managed day-to-day activities of the communications firm’s largest client account. He also led and worked on various other PR and advertising accounts in the fields of energy, healthcare, and tourism. Scott received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and master’s degree in sport management from West Virginia University. At WVU, he worked in the sports information office for four years, serving as the primary media contact for the varsity baseball, men’s soccer, and wrestling teams, among others.
