An effective government administrator with a track record of accomplishment in budget, human resources, strategic planning, and performance management. Scott also ran highly successful government-wide EGov initiatives on geospatial coordination and recreation.Formerly Acting Assistant Secretary for Policy, Management, and Budget at the Department of the Interior. a $14 Billion agency with almost employees. He was acting CFO, Chief Acquisition Officer, Chief Financial Assistance Officer, Chief Sustainability Officer, Interior\'s Principal on the National Invasive Species Council, and heavily involved in wildfire management and environmental policy.Mr. Cameron was founder and President of the Reduce Risks from Invasive Species Coalition, a 501(c)(3) non-profit promoting non-regulatory solutions to invasive species problems around the country. Invasive species cause significant ecological, economic, and public health problems domestically and internationally.Scott understands electoral politics, having been elected as a Republican in heavily Democratic Fairfax County, Virginia, the State\'s largest jurisdiction with over 1 million people. In his successful campaign to be elected a Director of the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District, he proved his ability to appeal to a broad base of voters, earning the endorsement of both the Sierra Club and the Tea Party.For more than a decade Scott as supported several firms providing consulting services to numerous federal and private clients.From a policy perspective, he is particularly knowledgeable on the federal budget, the regulatory process, invasive species, water resources, wildland fire, public lands management, and biodiversity issues.As a former Congressional staffer, he managed more than a dozen bills and amendments into law. Beyond Interior, he has deep familiarity and relationships with OMB, USDA, NOAA, the Army Corps of Engineers, DOE, and EPA.
