ABOUT SCOTT C. SMITH
I have always been interested in human cognition as a dynamic process both in growing individuals as well as through evolution. I pursue this interest through explorations into how we express ourselves aesthetically, how we make our environments meaningful, and how our minds learn and find meaning via metaphor. I particularly love hunting for meaningful places in Google Earth. The way human cognition evolved makes us particularly adept at organizing information geographically, so I seek map-based solutions for complex sets of data.
