About Scott C. Owen

I am Senior Counsel for Broad Reach Power LLC, a utility-scale independent power producer and battery energy storage company. I support BRP\'s development and land teams in acquiring surface leases and acquisitions for battery energy storage systems, which connect into the electrical grid in markets across the United States (e.g, ERCOT in Texas, CAISO in California, MISO across the Midwestern states, etc.). I also manage BRP\'s Texas regulatory filings at ERCOT and PUCT, and negotiate and draft MSAs and NDAs to support our development and operations teams. Prior to my work at BRP, I was an upstream oil and gas attorney for various independent E&P companies, supporting land, operations, and supply chain/contract matters.
