Producing value engineered and manufacturing standard 3D BIM fully coordinated models and drawings for MEP installations. Specialising in prefabricated off-site elements such as multi service on floor (corridor) and riser modules, traditional plantroom installs (loose pipework and bracketry), prefabricated pump and boiler skids and fully prefabricated packaged plantrooms. These are taken from a design consultants 2D design schematics/layouts, developed into 3D BIM models and then manufacturing standard drawings are produced for the off-site prefabrication workshop facility to manufacture and install from.I have gained experience in a large variety of projects including healthcare facilities, MOD buildings, office blocks, building refurbishments, data centres, district heating networks and education buildings.

ABOUT SCOTT BLAIR
Prefabrication BIM engineer in the building services industry with over 12 years experience. Experienced in 3D revit/cad modelling to a fabrication and value engineering standard. In my current role, I am also responsible for leading a team of prefabrication BIM and design engineers as well as actively supporting the off-site prefabrication workshop team to complete projects on time, on budget and to meet the clients expectations. I am actively involved at tender/early design/pre-construction stages of projects to help identify and develop opportunities for prefabricated elements along with providing costing/estimating support. I have obtained a HNC qualification in Building Services Engineering (awarded grade A for graded unit) and currently working towards a HNC qualification in Construction Management.
