With over 25 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry, I am a passionate and skilled leader who oversees all aspects of Machining & Assembly operations at Curtis Machine Co. A company that is one of the most progressive manufacturing companies in the Midwest with state of the art machine tools and CMM testing equipment. My core competencies include CNC machining, problem solving, lean operations, and quality control. I am driven by the mission of creating innovative and sustainable mobility solutions that enhance the lives of customers and communities. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked with different cultures, technologies, and standards in the industry.As the General Manager of Curtis Machine Co, I am responsible for the engineering, production, staffing, training, and development of the Machining & Assembly area. I manage the key performance indicators, such as Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively, first time through, production volume, and cost control. I also ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience as well as developing line supervisors, implementing operational tasks and projects, and collaborating with other departments. I apply my problem solving, lean operations, and manufacturing skills to optimize the flow, quality, and efficiency of the assembly process. I also coach and train others in floor management display system, kaizen, standardization, and lean manufacturing principles.
