About Scott Allen
Our team uses our past government experience to keep the government in check. We represent defendants, targets, witnesses, and businesses during civil and criminal investigations and related litigation brought by federal and state law enforcement authorities by assisting our clients respond to subpoenas, search warrants, and civil investigative demands, and by representing them in court. Our greatest successes are the cases you never read about. We also hold New York State accountable by filing civil actions that challenge vague or unconstitutional laws. Additionally, we use our previous prosecutorial experience to conduct internal investigations for businesses that suspect fraud within their operation. I am a former Assistant United States Attorney, WDNY, and active duty United States Marine Corps prosecutor. I grew up on a family farm in Upstate New York, ran track in high school and college, and currently serve as a Major (selected for LtCol FY 26) in the United States Marine Corps Reserves as a preliminary hearing officer within Judge Advocate Division.
