ACT I: I’m the arts camp kid who wandered into math camp and have been trying to bring them together ever since. What is the art in science and science in art? The theatre in politics? The math in music? This seeded my ‘spot-thinking’ technique to connect dots across disciplines, dimensions and cultures. I learned how I learn.ACT II: Brought together my learnings about creativity and technique as a lawyer for the software industry. Became passionate about the policies, rules and trends shaping an emerging industry and became fluent in the language of its business. I created, orchestrated and integrated global communities and programs across sales, marketing, services, legal, finance, partners and engineering groups for multi-billion dollar results. Led with a ‘learn by doing together’ approach to clarify the complex. Developed a reputation as a strategic business leader, who prioritizes integrity, inclusion and empathy to execute. ACT I’m now looking for who’s and where’s next. I want to continue to lead and grow through inspiration, coaching and hard work. That includes getting out of my own way to help others learn, grow and wow.
