In my current role, I spearhead the provision of business and operational control processes for fleet and driver compliance across all UK and IRE transport hubs, ensuring adherence to applicable legislation/regulations and operator license requirements. I also develop materials and conduct training for key logistics staff in the implementation of operational compliance and safety management systems, and ensure the competency of managers in procedures, protocols, and safety management practices. Further, I conduct audits and inspections of all factory stores to monitor compliance. Key achievements include.• Launching new location processes and leading the rollout of established systems for training of drivers (increase of 23% volume).• Introducing a robust risk register and non-conformance reporting system to effectively manage issues from identification to resolution and review.• Successfully maintaining OCRS and Operators Licence compliance whilst increasing the number of fleet vehicles to 115.• Doubling the departmental headcount over a three-year period, allowing the business to maximise vehicle asset efficiency across 20 hours (increased from 10 hours).
