ABOUT BYRON TAYLOR

As an experienced Banker, I am acutely aware that my clients have unlimited choices regarding which Banker they choose to help them meet their financial needs. With over two decades of relevant experience in financial services, I bring a unique perspective to my clients. My background in Wealth and Commercial Banking affords me the ability not only to understand complex scenarios, but to navigate them through the bank, saving my clients time while helping to manage their wealth. Whether it is avoiding unnecessary financial trade-offs, taking advantage of investment opportunities or financing a complex wealth strategy, I work best with clients who are comfortable using leverage wisely to get their capital working harder for them. I am fortunate to work with a select client base, which allows me to continue investing more of my time into deepening relationships with my existing clients and their families. I believe that this type of genuine relationship and commitment to clients is at the core of Private Banking and Scotia Wealth Management, and the true reason why I am passionate about partnering with my clients. I was born and raised Calgary, proud to be a graduate of University of Calgary (Bachelor of Commerce degree) and have furthered my financial knowledge through various courses at the Canadian Securities Institute. I enjoy supporting and partnering with various charities in Calgary along with embracing valuable family time.
