About Joshua McClure
Joshua David McClure, friends call him “Scotch.” Starting in 2015, Joshua dedicated himself to combating pathogens - the leading cause of human disease and mortality. He leads a team of the world\'s top pharmaceutical, infectious disease and bioengineering talent including scientists, clinicians and executives. Inventions Joshua co-invented the world’s first tissue-safe virucidal anti-infectives, anti-infective device coatings, the first virucidal condom, human gene expression modulation technology, geo-placed digital media, facial recognition-based commerce, and designed and commercialized the world\'s first dual core laptop computer in partnership with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Joshua’s father was a US Army Airborne Ranger and Cold War helicopter pilot who ferried US and UK military intelligence operatives across the East German border during the Cold War. Until 6 years old, Joshua\'s mother and father spoke German only in the home. At the end of the Cold War, the family moved to Texas and exited military service to start a working cattle ranch. So, Joshua worked middle through high school years as a Texas rancher - fixing barbed wire fence, building river crossings and shootin’ cans. He is now a city boy and only says “y\'all” in appropriately good company.
