After more than 25 years delivering major projects for Ministry of Defence, I describe myself as an enthusiastic and motivated Professional Mechanical Engineer turned Portfolio, Programme & Project Manager.My particular strengths lie in my team working skills, strong analytical abilities and a determination to finish what I start. I am widely regarded as a subject matter expert in project management and project controls, especially Earned Value Management and Risk Management.As well as delivery of projects, I have a proven track record for delivering successful change programmes, especially within extant projects and project teams. I have also chaired Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) for 2 major defence contracts as well as participated in numerous others.Outside of work, I am a governor of Abbeywood Community School in Bristol, where I chair the Learning & Attainment Committee. I am happily married and have 2 amazing kids (despite one being a teenager). Although I have lived in Bristol for well over 20 years, I am still a passionate supporter of Norwich City Football Club. Other hobbies include: messing around with my Raspberry Pi computer, technical Lego and taxiing my kids from A to B.Always seeking a fresh challenge.
