About Scot King
I just competed a 31 state cross country bicycle trek all for our combat wounded Veterans and thier families. I rode 6023 miles and recieved state flags from all 31 states and the Nations Capital, these flags as well as the 19 other state flags will fly in our Veterans Memorial Colisium in 2013. I also got the stories from our combat wounded Veterans, combat Veterans and, families who have lost a loved one in Iraq and Afghanistan. The stories are those who have been in WWll, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq & Afghanistan. The first book is due out by Christmas of 2011. Our goal is to raise awareness and funds for our combat wounded Veterans and thier families and would like to raise 1 million dollars. Cpl Scot King U.S.M.C. Veteran. As of September 2012 my ride to all lower 48 states is complete. I started in Salem, Oregon on May 7th 2011 and finished my SOLO bicycle ride on September 29th 2012 with miles in the sadle. My ride was done in support of all those who served and are now serving this great nation. I can also say that am the only person who has riden a bicycle with paniers and a loaded trailer to every State Capitol in the lower 48 states. I collected a flag from every state and interveiwed over 135 combat wounded Veterans, Combat Veterans, and families who lost a loved one in Iraq and Afghanistan.
