Beginning in 2024, I now lead and oversee the growth and development of 17 branch teams and 17 non-exempt Branch Leaders from the Greater Roanoke market to Southside, Virginia with an emphasis on deepening client relationships through caring conversations, superior client service, and operational excellence. In my almost nine years in the role, I have directly led 59 of the 74 branches in the current Virginia West Region ranging in geography from the suburbs of DC and Charlottesville to rural far SW VA encompassing 16 different area changes. I coach and mentor leaders and teammates to meet client needs through consultative and caring financial assessments, proactive outbound business development calling, and being community leaders/small business advisors in their respective markets. Through a holistic sales/educational approach highlighted by partnership referrals and improved efficiency, net income increased year over year (YOY) with 2023 deposit balance growth at 130% of goal, business lending at 104% of goal, client service survey results at 119% of goal, and all 34 branches met or exceeded its annual audit expectations. I have also acted as a formal mentor to three new Area Leaders within our footprint from the Atlanta, Maryland, and Greater Washington markets during my time in this role.
