At IBM there was the opportunity to work within a supply chain centre of excellence through a period of significant change as we moved some of the production operations across to mainland Europe. There was a huge learning curve as I led the design and implementation of the supply chain logistics solutions for IBM and spent 12 months on-site in Holland ensuring the IBM standards were maintained and enhanced.I went on to work in multiple industries and sectors such as Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, e-commerce, Construction, High Tech. I have initiated, scoped and implemented SOP programmes to improve forecast accuracy, agility, working capital, customer service levels. Delivered robust planning for Network redesign leading to significant reduction in UK footprint, significantly reducing cost and maintaining high customer service standards. Consistently delivered cost reductions through procurement of 3rd party Logistics Contracts Alignment, consolidations and optimisation of warehouse and transport operations. Road Risk Policy £2m saving, 34% reduction in accidents, reduced insurance premium and safer fleet.Having completed my most recent assignment at McBride plc, I am now ready to consider my next opportunity. I would be excited to consider supply chain and logistics opportunities in UK / Europe, large networks, multi-site operations. Excited to learn about any full-time opportunities, but also immediately available for any interim roles.
