ABOUT STEPHEN CLARKE

I am an analytical and resourceful process improvement engineer turned supply chain professional who has built a reputation for solving complex problems across the value chain. I am experienced in developing fit for purpose solutions that can be deployed sustainably to enable supply chains to operate more efficiently, effectively, and profitably. My strengths lie in understanding complex systems and processes, getting to the root cause of the problem, then identifying and implementing a sustainable solution. Throughout my career I’ve worked on a number of multi-disciplinary projects and always like to take a wholistic business perspective to a problem.My background is in chemical engineering & Lean 6 sigma which has readily enabled me to transition working across the supply chain gaining experience from R&D, through production management and process engineering to Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management.The most notable projects I’ve worked on are the implementation of SAP R/3 ERP, and SAP IBP, business reengineering of the operations (manufacturing and logistics) functions, and the total overhaul of the inventory management, product mix and supply chain planning processes.In short, I like to engage new areas across the supply chain, enabling them to operate more effectively, efficiently and profitably putting me in a strong position to generate value across an organization’s supply chain.
