ABOUT SARIT CIOBAN SPECTOR
Sarit Cioban Spector grew up in Israel and has lived in Silver Spring, Maryland since May 2012. After her marriage in 2010 she moved permanently to the United States. Since her move to the DMV Sarit became an expert educator in the areas of Hebrew language and Judaic StudiesIn 2007, Sarit served as a Shlicha (Emissary) for the Jewish Agency for Israel to the Jewish Federation of Southern NJ. She spoke and conducted programs at many Jewish day schools, Hebrew schools, synagogues and other Jewish community organizations to all age groups.Sarit served in the Israeli Air Force from 1996 to 1998. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, with sub major at Middle East Affairs from the Emek-Izrael College in 2006, and an Early Childhood Educator (0-8) certificate from The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington in 2014. Sarit has a Master\'s of Arts from Middlebury College, specializing in teaching Hebrew as a second language.
