ABOUT DANIEL MURPHY
I am a Biochemist and Science Educator with professional goals to foster enthusiasm and competency in the sciences and to provide my interdisciplinary expertise to ventures involved in the betterment of human health, society, and the environment. I build and lead live public science events and teach the sciences to K-12 through undergraduate levels in formal and informal educational settings. I supervise staff and manage teaching laboratories and facilities in a space for hypercollaborative activity to occur and leverages the breadth of a top-ranked university, pairing it with the nimbleness and strength of a private medical research organization. I am specialized in the structure, biochemistry, and biophysics of proteins and DNA. I have career experience in academic research at national research facilities and top-tier universities and industry experience at global life science and high technology companies.
