Senior Technical Consultant focused on IT Asset Management, helping enterprises get control over software spend, license compliance, and ITAM processes across various technologies.## Who I am Freelance Senior Technical Consultant for IT Asset Management, based in Munich and working with international enterprise customers in finance, automotive, insurance, and retail.Background in business informatics (B.Sc.) and MBA with more than 6 years of experience around software licensing, ITAM tools, and data-driven decision making.## What I do - Lead or support ITAM projects, coordinating stakeholders across IT, procurement, finance, and legal to align technology, contracts, and governance- Design, install, and configure ITAM-tools, and integrate them with CMDB and surrounding ITSM landscapes- Build and optimize commercial ITAM databases using best-of-breed SAM-tools for licenses, subscriptions, and contracts, including renewal control and license audit readiness.## How I create value - Analyze software usage, costs, and compliance positions to identify savings potential, unused or double-licensed software, and compliance risks- Design reports and dashboards using native ITAM reporting and Microsoft Power BI to provide clear, actionable insights for management and operations- Assess, improve, and document ITAM processes and run trainings so that teams can sustainably operate their ITAM platforms and reporting.## Typical engagements - Proof-of-concepts and pilots for Snow Software (Flexera)/ Flexera One platforms, including technical setup, data quality checks, and documentation of use cases and architecture- Support for RFIs and RFPs, especially for banks, insurance companies, and public tenders, translating complex ITAM requirements into realistic solutions- Advisory on ITAM roadmaps, from classic software license management to SaaS management, FinOps-oriented cost control, and audit-ready compliance.
