ABOUT LAURENT SCHATZ

Since 20 years, I work as the bridge between business strategy & needs and transformation design & execution. I believe in a lean approach of transformation, wider than programs and business lead, socio-technical, monitored and progressive.Over the years, I worked on transforming various sectors (Healthcare/Homecare, Chemical Industry, Insurance) and departments (Operations, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, Data).with a predilection for the Healthcare domain.More than 15 years in transformation of Healthcare (chronic disease monitoring, patient journey orchestration) or in transposable transformations (Plant workfloor processes, multiple department information consistency).It was first mostly tech lead with hype techs (Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, data, AI), but more and more I tend to have a more comprehensive approach, through business architecture, considering the following 4 stepsCOLLECT: Collect strategic objectives and business needs driving transformation, and business and IT context. Identify business values.MODEL & CONNECT: Build a comprehensive model interconnecting values, capabilities, processes, information and tools, as well as system dynamics.EXPLAIN & ENGAGE: Support transformation understanding for each stakeholder\'s viewpoint to support enlightened choices.EXECUTE & MONITOR: Manage transformation iterations and program execution, defining and leading PoCs, MVPs and projects.
