I shape creative work that’s honest, joyful, and culturally grounded. I focus on stories that bring people closer—and create space for the ones we don’t hear enough. My role is to listen deeply, clear the noise, and help the work speak for itself.In 1994, my brother, sister, and I started a Scottish rock ’n roll band. We called ourselves The Scotch Tapes. Our hit single, “Pink Slip,” lit up our living room but pushed the limits of what our Asian parents could handle. We disbanded by fifth grade. I played the broom guitar.These days, I’m a conjurer of ideas. A designer of things. An aspiring word smith-er. An overseer of art. A retired musician. A former log chopper and sweatshop seamster. A lover of Tyrian Purple. A taster of cheeses. A chaser of destiny. An overall okay guy.Still chasing the same feeling I had when we recorded “Pink Slip”—making something that felt true and made people feel something.
