ABOUT SCARLETT SPIRO-BEAZLEY
While developing my skills within the arts and theatre sector I discovered a real love of producing community and socially engaged projects, with a particular interest in working with young people. One of my aims throughout my positions has been to facilitate events and projects that challenge and excite an arts audience whist encouraging accessibility allowing a wider audience to be involved. My experience in arts and participation has involved communities, from very young children to school children, from youth offenders to people who have experienced homelessness or mental health issues, from poets to DJs, in new participatory processes. I appreciate seeing the mutual benefits of collaboration between artists and the public which has been a highlight within my varied work.
