ABOUT STEPHEN CARLE
Curious, Innovative, & Inclusive. Throughout my career, these words have been used to describe me and my contributions to the firm. My passion and reputation can be attributed to how I was raised, and the many lessons I learned in my youth that I carry with me today.When I was about 14, I saw this mountain bike that I really wanted and asked my parents if they could buy it for me. Instead of buying the bike, they told me to go earn it. As a result, I found every odd job that I could to make money toward getting that bike. Having that financial goal in mind, I knew that a $5/hr job would take way too long. I found jobs that paid a much better per hour rate (mowing lawns, painting, shoveling, and many other random ways to make a dollar). In a couple of months, I earned enough money and bought that bike which became my prized possession. At the time, I thought the bike was the reward for all the hard work, but the lesson was more valuable. I learned that if you really want something, you need to go out there and work hard to get it. If you have a goal in mind, you will find creative ways to achieving your goals. Along the way, you will also meet and can make a lasting impression on many different people. Helping others while still achieving your goal will make it more rewarding. When I get involved in something, my passion shines through. I take on deep emotional ownership and I\'m always excited to educate and collaborate with others around me. This is the type of person I am at work and in my personal life.In my current role as a Global Lead, I manage a high-performing team focused on strategic projects to drive platform change for the investments (Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Cash Management, Digtal Assets, Private Credit) and trading. In our role, we combine strategy, business process, firm navigation, and technology expertise. I have a great team around me and I’ve worked with a lot of amazing and similarly dedicated people throughout my career, it’s been a wonderful ride!
