Responsible for sales and rentals of material handling equipment. Leavitt Machinery offers new and used equipment, short and long term rentals, operator training and parts support.Key responsibilities include:• Lead sales strategy and planning in the Calgary and surrounding territory, including prospecting, sales lead follow-ups, and building and maintaining strong relationships with customers• Retain and grow top customer accounts by proactively identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions• Negotiate prices and making deals, turning leads into sales• Identify and build relationships with decision-makers within existing accounts, creating an ongoing relationship strategy and establishing Leavitt as a trusted advisor• Provide input on customer opportunities, ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy• Forecast and deliver on accounts to ensure success against contract terms• Collaborate with product experts to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts• Conduct follow-up with customers on orders, quotes, and services requested• Source competitor information and analyze competitor product offerings and pricing to overcome client objections
