After working at Workday as a User interface Intern, I began working as an IT consultant at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. As one of three desktop employee’s I had a wide range of job functions which include Systems Management, Troubleshooting, Audio Visual Support, Asset Management, Training New Employee’s, Documentation, Researching, QA’ing new technologies, and etc. BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. has been a great experience in learning the job functions of IT.Experience:• Systems management via SCCM, and JAMF Casper Suite• Mobile Device Management via JAMF and Citrix Secure Hub• Troubleshoot Mac OSX, Microsoft OS, iDevices, Office Suite, Hardware, Conference Rooms• Top Level Support (V.I.P) to VP’s/CEO’s and their Admins • Provide day to day support by researching and resolving Mac/PC systems, Mobile Devices, Office Printers, Office Suite, and Video Conferencing Systems.• Educated new hires during NHO (New Hire Orientation) on how to use their laptops, company software, and windows 8.1• Employee synchronization management via OneDrive and Syncplicity • Responsible for configuring and deploying desktops, laptops, and iPhones for new employees • Maintained asset inventory, software, and licenses with Excel, Oracle Database, LiveLink, Sharepoint, and Asset Panda• Configured VOIP hardware (Polycom and Crestron RL2) for Conference Rooms and Desk Setup• Strong video conferencing support skills with Lync for onsite and offsite meetings • Performed duties of queue manager, assigned and allocate the workflow to appropriate technicians.• Rolled out BYOD by installing and configuring CitrixWorx onto Android and iDevices• Utilized Active Directory to place employees into correct groups, unlock accounts, and reset passwords
